Meet the Agamenticus Team

Agamenticus Plumbing

Family Rooted

Owners, Scott & Michelle Palmer, grew up in York / Cape Neddick, Maine and reside near the beautiful Mt. Agamenticus - the inspiration for their company name and logo. They started Agamenticus Plumbing together in 2013.

As their family and company have grown in size, so has the chaos!  They know all too well how small hiccups can seem tremendous when life is so busy.  They have prioritized making plumbing visits, reminders, repairs, and payments as customer-convenient as possible and will continue to progress as needed.

Meet the Agamenticus Team

Scott, Agamenticus Plumbing

Scott

Chief Pipe Officer (CPO)

He’s the top dog when it comes to anything that flows—fieldwork, fittings, and fixing the unfixable.

Scott has worked in the plumbing industry for more than 20 years and has a passion for both the craft and the challenge of solving unique plumbing problems. He is a lifelong learner, constantly discovering new techniques to improve efficiency or exploring advancements in plumbing technology. In recent years, Scott has found joy in teaching the trade, sharing tips with eager trainees, including his oldest son, Wyatt. He takes pride in helping customers by providing expert knowledge and reliable service when they need it most. Outside of work, Scott spends his free time with his wife, Michelle, and their four children. Together, they enjoy boating along the Maine coast, skiing in the Maine mountains, and attending countless kids’ sports games.

Michelle Palmer of Agamenticus Plumbing

Michelle

Chief Flow Officer (CFO)

She keeps the whole operation running smoothly behind the scenes—like the unsung hero of every well-plumbed home.

Co-founder of Agamenticus Plumbing since 2013, Michelle is the calm voice guiding customers through plumbing emergencies. Known for her honest approach, she expertly schedules repairs and often troubleshoots issues over the phone, saving customers time and money. With a Master’s in special education, Michelle transitioned from teaching to create a family business that allows her to balance work with raising four children. When not keeping operations running smoothly behind the scenes, she enjoys outdoor adventures with her family.

Josh from Agamenticus Plumbing

Josh

Rough In Royalty (RIR)

Tired of watching the clock at a desk job, Josh was ready for a career with growth and opportunity. Having done construction through high school, he found his path when his brother-in-law Scott (co-owner of Agamenticus Plumbing & Heating) convinced him to apply for a plumbing position. He has zero regrets about this decision. Josh appreciates how every day brings different experiences and challenges, while providing knowledge across multiple trades. Outside of work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and camping with his wife, three children, and two pups.

Chad, a plumber at Agamenticus Plumbing

Chad

Southpaw Pipe Pro (SPP)

Chad began his plumbing career at Agamenticus Plumbing in 2021. He thrives on the challenges (including being a lefty in a right-handed world) and problem-solving aspects of his job. He takes pride in learning something new every day and in his work. Chad finds satisfaction in making customers happy with his strong work ethic, expertise, and caring approach to solving plumbing issues or improving their plumbing space. Outside of work, Chad enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and camping in the White Mountains, fishing in local ponds, and spending time at the lake.

Drew at Agamenticus Plumbing

Drew

Future Flush Master (FFM)

At a young age, Drew has already discovered his passion for plumbing. He loves solving problems and fixing things with his hands. Each day brings new challenges—whether installing pipes or repairing leaks—and he enjoys the variety of work and continuous learning, especially the service side of the business. Drew takes pride in helping people by ensuring their systems run smoothly, and he appreciates being in a trade that offers both job security and growth opportunities.  When not solving plumbing problems, Drew can be found fishing—a pastime where he relaxes and enjoys peace and quiet—or dirt biking with friends, where he explores new trails, embraces challenges, and gets his adrenaline pumping.

Wyatt, an Apprentice Plumber at Agamenticus Plumbing

Wyatt

Pipe Dream Pursuer (PDP)

Wyatt has big dreams and isn’t afraid to work young and hard to get there.  As a Maine licensed trainee plumber, he loves learning about plumbing and the variety it brings in a day’s work.  He hopes to be accepted into the plumbing program at Sanford Regional Technical Center for his Junior/Senior year of high school.  When he’s not learning the trade he loves spending time in the woods with friends engineering and carving out trails, courses, and jumps for dirtbiking. He also enjoys running track, wrestling, playing football, and skiing.

"Bad" Betty Agamenticus Plumbing Mascot

“Bad” Betty

Pawsitive Energy Manager (PEM)

Betty is a young, long-haired Jack Russell Terrier with boundless energy and a heart full of love. Whether she’s bounding through the great outdoors, diving into every puddle of mud she can find, or chasing anything that moves (especially her 4 human siblings), she’s always on the go. But don’t let her adventurous spirit fool you—she’s just as happy curling up for a cozy cuddle after a day full of fun. Betty brings joy and energy wherever she goes, reminding us all to embrace the little moments with enthusiasm and love!

We had a great experience with Agamenticus Plumbing. After trying a couple of orher plumbers who never bothered to call us back, they actually called back and were able to come and fix our small leak quickly!

They came when they said they would, did what they said they would do, cleaned up and left the bathroom neat and tidy, and all in less than an hour. I'd give them a straight "A"!

You can always rely on the experienced, smart work of Agamenticus Plumbing. Scott, and his wife Michelle too, were very helpful in the wake of my basement flooding. Recommend highly.
